The BB scene has lost another good man..Karl 'Nandi' Hoffman

Last thursday Nandi passed away because of a heart attack. Nandi was respected member (administrator) at cuttingedgemuscle..a great loss it is

    Quote:
    Karl was a great man.
Even with his extensive knowledge in pharmacology, he never turned a deaf ear even to the newbie who had any type of question. Regardless of how basic it may have been to Karl he always answered it..

My thoughts go out to his wife and family

    Rest in Peace bro!

Last thurday he died of a heart attack possibly caused by a complication of his disease (dermatomyositis) where he was suffering from.

His disease was diagnosed and he was under treatment for it. He was found the day afterwards by his widow Elaine Aliberti, she was at the time of his death visiting her mother.

    Nandi was 50 years old

Karl was a physica-teacher en educated at the Boston University. He was known in the online-bodybuilding scene as someone intelligent en respected for his knowledge of steroids and ahead of his time.
But he was more than intelligent, he had an enromous presence and character.
Always willing to help people..no matter how stupid their questions where. Always the teacher that wanted to pass over information to his students.

That his disire for knowledge may live on in all of us
